Flower Garden CAL - a big thank you

We were overwhelmed with the enthusiasm for our Flower Garden CAL. The blanket was designed by Lynne Rowe and our exclusive colour pack was selected by Heather Leal.

It was wonderful to watch your progress over the four-week period and well done to all of you for completing the blanket. For those of you who missed it, or are still working on it, you can find the pattern instalments below:

For this CAL you will need Stylecraft Special Aran (100% acrylic).

For the complete blanket: 4 x 100g (196m) balls of Stylecraft Special Aran (100% acrylic) in Cream (1005); 1 ball in each of Pomegranate (1083), Lipstick (1246), Fondant (1241), Spice (1711) Magenta (1084), Plum (1061), Lemon (1020) and Meadow (1065). This CAL is crocheted on a 5mm hook.

Alison's finished blanket looks perfectly poised in the dappled sunlight. Whoever saw such an inviting bench?

Karen's overhead shot is mesmerising with the colourful squares popping wonderfully through the cream outlines.

Teresa really went to town with her squares with, what looks like, a quadruple sized blanket! We wonder where this masterpiece will be used... perhaps as a bed spread?

It was lovely to see how much help and sharing of tips people were offering each other. Like Laura, who gave a valuable tip for joining the corners with a stitch marker, allowing you to work non-stop along a row when joining with double crochet.
