An Easy Yarn Rainbow to Make

This simple yarn rainbow takes no time at all to make and is a great project to make with the children. Just follow these five easy steps:

Step 1: Cut out a cardboard template in the shape of your rainbow

Step 2: Plait each yarn shade to the length you require, leaving a tassel on the end

Step 3: Stick each colour down onto your card (we used a hot glue gun)

Step 4: Cut out a cloud shape using white felt (or your choice of material)

Step 5: Stitch around the edges for decoration and stick down onto the rainbow

Why not give it a go to hang in your window, or share with somebody who hasn't yet mastered the art of knitting or crochet.
