Introducing the BRAND NEW Rainbow Blanket! Using Stylecraft Special DK yarn, it has been lovingly designed by Nicola Valiji exclusively for The Knitting Network and Woman's Weekly. This stunning blanket perfectly encapsulates the colours of the rainbow in an ombre style. Watch the colour change and see the eye-catching shades as you begin to knit up this beautiful blanket.
Every knitted stitch on this stunning design has been carefully considered; from the rows of ripple waves that effortlessly blend the pretty pastel colours to the crisp white border that completes the look.
This intermediate make is a really mood enhancing knitting project. The completed blanket measures approximately 76cm x 105cm / 30in x 41.5in.
The Rainbow Blanket Colour Pack includes all of the Stylecraft Special DK yarn you need, plus a copy of the printed pattern. You will also need a set of 4mm circular knitting needles, you can use either an 80cm or 100cm length.

Beautiful colours for this blanket,loved knitting it, wool so soft, loved the subtle colour changes as you knitted one colour into the next colour,only problem I had like some others seem to have had ! I ran out of the white on the last border, and unfortunately when I tried to reorder it was out of stock. I did manage to find so Stylecraft white in my stash cupboard which was lucky. I loved this Kit! Amazing to knit - it was really enjoyable watching each colour change and I found it very easy to follow the pattern! Only 4 points as to complete a proper border to finish the blanket would need another ball of white! However -during Lockdown so I improvised the border by using three colours and I loved the finished result and so did my niece-still great value for money but I will need to order another ball of white for my next kit! Such a simple but really effective knit. Easy to read and complete pattern. Great wool with such a fantastic, blended colour choice. Having read the previous reviewer, I ordered an extra ball of white. However, there was no need as I had enough white in the kit to complete the blanket. I don’t usually go for kits but saw this blanket and fell in love with it, the colours provided are beautiful, the pattern is a simple garter stitch but the overall effect looks nothing like anything so easy to do. It does state that the kit provides enough wool to complete the blanket, the colours there is enough left over to do a second one but there wasn’t enough white to complete the edging, I was lucky enough to have a ball of white that actually matched in without being noticeable and yes I did do a tension check before I started making the blanket. I was torn between giving 4 or 5 stars, it came close to being a 4 because of the white yarn problem but the overall blanket is gorgeous so it’s 5 stars. (Posted on 07/10/2020)Rating
