We’re ditching the needles and going all arms for this fun new technique for giant and super speedy knitting. Be prepared to get your upper body moving with many people preferring to stand while their giant pieces of fabric form. Make yourself a snood and try your hand at some other shapes and sizes.

12pm Introductions and select yarns for a sample piece
12.30pm Learn the arm knitting technique and have a go
1.30pm Continue practicing arm knitting on a project
3pm Learn to sew up finished items and finish them off
3.45pm Question time
4pm Workshop finishes
Where: All our workshops will be held in the Learning Zone at 161 Marsh Wall, London E14 9AP. We are close to Canary Wharf, which is on the Jubilee line and Heron Quays, which is on the DLR. Once you’ve booked your place, we’ll help you with directions should you need them.
When: Half day workshops will start at 12 and finish at 4 – do bring a bite to eat with you.
