Picnic on the Beach CAL Colour Pack - Autumn

The Picnic on the Beach blanket crochet along (CAL) will be hosted by Eleonora Tully at Coastal Crochet The CAL will run for 8 weeks in total starting with the first instalment on Friday 26th February and the final instalment on Friday 16th April. The pattern will be available on Eleonora’s website. It will be a really enjoyable crochet along inspired by a picnic on the beach.

Some of the stiches include Tunisian Entrelac, Basketweave and plenty of raised stitches to give you an idea. And of course, there are some gingham checks in there somewhere! Inspired by the quintessential picnic colours for blankets and tablecloths.

This picnic inspired rectangular blanket measures approximately 135cm x 105cm (53 inches x 41 inches). The design features many different crochet techniques so there’s plenty to learn if you haven’t tried these stitches before and Eleonora will be doing YouTube videos for the less familiar stitches.

The pattern starts with the central square which is crocheted using Tunisian Entrelac to create the Gingham pattern. Traditional crochet stitches are then crocheted around this square. The rest of the blanket is built up by joining panels as you go and working in long rows to create the finished rectangular blanket shape. A border is crocheted around the entire blanket.

The Picnic on the Beach Colour Pack - Autumn includes all of the Stylecraft Special DK yarn you need to make the Autumn colourway. You will also need a 4.0mm and a 4.5mm hook, stitch marker, yarn needle and scissors (not included).

You can return new and unused items for a full refund (excluding original postage costs) provided they are returned within 30 days of receipt. Digital Patterns cannot be cancelled or refunded once they have been downloaded. Faulty or damaged goods will be fully refunded, including the original postage costs.

Please allow up to 10 working days for returns to be inspected and refunds processed. Once your return is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email if you supplied your email address when ordering, otherwise, you will see the funds return to your bank.
