These stripy boot socks for all the family are worked in rounds of stocking stitch with single rib edging using an Aran weight yarn for extra warmth. They're super quick to make so if you're getting ready for a hiking holiday, get those needles out. You've more time than you think!

1 x 100g (190m) ball of Sirdar Wool Rich Aran (60% wool, 40% acrylic) in each of 2 contrasting colours for child sizes and 3 contrasting colours for adult sizes. For children sizes, we used Purple (315) or Powder Blue (313) with Cream (310), for adult small size we used Westbury (314), Shingle (311) and Cream (310), for adult medium size we used Purple (315), Cream (310) and Westbury (314), and for adult large and extra large sizes we used Powder Blue (313), Moleskin (317) and Finn (316) (Yarn information)
