Here is the fourth instalment of the Ice Cream Sundae CAL! Inspired by the pastel shades of ice cream, this is a lovely cool and crisp summer blanket.

This blanket is worked in rows of double crochet, changing the colour yarn in a certain way to make a square out of two different colour triangles.

Referring to the guide on the part one blog post for further help.

With right side facing, and with 5mm hook and white, work 22 dc

along row-ends of Grey section of third motif, changing to grey on last yrh of last

dc, as before.

Continue referring to the pattern.

Once you hace completed the fourth motif, over the sew the first and fourth motifs together. Use white yarn to do this. This will complete the square.

Now you have your large square motifs complete!

Make one more fourth motif in grey and white, two in mint and white and two in coral and white. Completing all the of the large square motifs.

In part five, you will work the edging to the blanket.
