Here is the second instalment of the Ice Cream Sundae CAL! Inspired by the pastel shades of ice cream, this is a lovely cool and crisp summer blanket.
This blanket is worked in rows of double crochet, changing the colour yarn in a certain way to make a square out of two different colour triangles.
For £42.99 you will get 15 x 50g balls of 100% cotton yarn, which is lovely to crochet with in gorgeous pastel colours. All the yarn you need to make your very own ice cream sundae blanket! There are five instalments for this CAL.
If you missed out on part one then don't worry, you can still download it here.
Keep scrolling for our helpful guide for making your blanket.
First row (right side): With right side facing, and with 5mm hook and white, work 22 dc along row-ends of grey section of first motif, changing to grey on last yrh of last dc, as before.
Second row: With grey work 1ch, then work 1dc in first dc.
Then with white, 1dc in each of next 21 dc, turn.
Continue referring to the pattern and using part one as a guide, continue to work the pattern.
After the 23rd row, fasten off. You have now worked half of the large square motif.
Make one more second motif in grey and white, two in mint and white and two in coral and white. In part three you will add another section to each of these motifs.
