Here is the fifth and final instalment of the Ice Cream Sundae CAL! Inspired by the pastel shades of ice cream, this is a lovely cool and crisp summer blanket.

This blanket is worked in rows of double crochet, changing the colour yarn in a certain way to make a square out of two different colour triangles.

Work the edging

First round: Join white to any corner on any square and 1ch.

Work 3dc in same corner as join.

Work 43dc along the side edge to next corner, then work 3dc in next corner.

Continue referring to the pattern. 

Second round: Work sl st in next dc to start in corner st, then work 1ch, then work 3dc in same st at base of 1ch.
